Handelsblatt: Tsipras govt may face 'sanctions' by European creditors over abruptly announced relief measures
Handelsblatt on Wednesday cited "heightened opposition" on the part of institutional creditors to an abruptly announced "relief" package by Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras last week, less than a month before his poll-trailing SYRIZA party faces its first elections since September 2015.

Government announces relief measures for those affected by wildfires
The government will compensate homeowners and owners of production units whose houses or property has been damaged or destroyed by the wildfires raging around the country, a cabinet meeting chaired by Alexis Tsipras decided on Wednesday.
