The economic shocks should not be solely absorbed by the salaries, Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos said late on Moday stressing the importance of the appropriate tools to boost exports.

The finance ministers of France and Italy agreed with Greek counterpart Euclid Tsakalotos on a more flexible treatment for Portugal and Spain during the Eurogroup meeting in Brussels on Monday, government sources said.

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) must finally make clear its position on the proposed Greek pension reforms and understand that the negotiations on the review of Greece’s programme cannot continue indefinitely, Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos said on Monday.
