Chicago's Greek America Foundation is collaborating with Crescent Street Films and Chrysovalantis Stamelos, to chronicle a major historical event in Turkey on May 31st, at St. Taxiarchis Greek Orthodox Church.

On the island of Lemnos, two churches suffered damages, eleven houses disintegrated, while three schools and thirteen houses incurred minor defects, due to yesterday's earthquake.

The U.S. Commission's International Religious Freedom Report recently downgraded Turkey this week, to "Tier 2".
