Migration Policy Minister Dimitris Vitsas suggested that an international human trafficking ring operating in Greece and Turkey was responsible for inciting the incidents at the Diavata refugee camp, speaking on Monday to the radio News 24/7.

Greece on Friday urged hundreds of migrants and refugees who have gathered in a field close to the country's northern border to return to their housing settlements, otherwise they could face sanctions.
