Yet another case of tax evasion by a well-known  refreshment center on the beach was detected by the auditors of the independent public revenue authority-AADE. This is a well-known beach bar located in Vouliagmeni.

The initiative belongs to the head of the European People's Party (EPP) Manfred Weber and the general secretary of the EPP, Thanasis Bakolas, one of the close associates of PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis. The timing for the closed meeting of around twenty leaders and party leaders – a "two-day brainstorming" session, as they call it among themselves – is not at all coincidental.

The famous "Athenian Riviera" is taking on a new face, as throughout the length of the 70 km coastline stretching from Mikrolimano to Sounio there is a large number of recreational, landscaping and real estate development, with new luxury villas, and five-star hotels, while the work of the redevelopment of the former airport in Elliniko has not yet begun.
