Samaras and Erdogan fully disagree over Cyprus
Prime Minister Antonis Samaras met with Turkish president Recep Tayip Erdogan on the sidelines of the NATO summit in Wales, to discuss the Cyprus issue and bilateral relations.
Spyros Louis' Olympic Silver Cup Exhibited in Lausanne
The Stavros Niarchos Foundation announced that the Silver Cup awarded to Spyros Louis, the first Marathon Winner at the inaugural Modern Olympic Games in 1896, has been moved temporarily to Switzerland, in order to be exhibited at the Olympic Museum, in Lausanne, in view also of the international marathon to be held in the Swiss city on October 26th.
Greece defeats Argentina at World Basketball Championship
The Greek national team scored its 5th consecutive win against Argentina, by scoring 79-71, in the final group game at the World Basketball Championship in Spain.
