Pavlos Giannakopoulos dies at 88

Businessman Pavlos Giannakopoulos passed away at the age of 88 on Sunday morning at 5am. Giannakopoulos, was the founder and president of pharmaceutical giants Vianex, as well a the owner and former-president of Panathinaikos BC, while he was at the helm of amateur divisions of the club for many years.

The U.S Presidential aircraft, Air Force One, landed at the military base of Souda Bay in Crete on Sunday at 3.07 am for a brief stop to refuel. President Trump is on his way to meet North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un in the Singapore Summit on Tuesday for talks about the latter’s nuclear programme.
