The OPA! Way Authors Host NYC Workshop

The OPA! Way authors Alex Pattakos and Elaine Dundon are holding a one-day workshop in New York City, on Saturday, October 10th, from 10:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.

The book and seminar centers on "Finding Joy & Meaning in Everyday Life & Work." As the writers describe, "In chasing the 'good life,' many of us sacrifice our relationships, our health and our sanity, but at the end of the day, we still find ourselves with lives and work that bring us little fulfillment. Life isn't about the pursuit of happiness, which is superficial and fleeting. It's about meaning, which helps us realize our full potential, and knowing that our lives and work matter-regardless of circumstance".

The workshop will be held at the New York Open Center. As the Center states on its webpage, the authors will, "share key lessons and insights from their extensive research and experience in the emerging field of Meaning, which is inspired by and incorporates Greek philosophy, mythology, and culture. They will lead us in exploring the differences between happiness, purpose, and meaning and teach us specific, practical techniques designed to help us live from our core essence."

The New York Open Center added, "We will also discover sophisticated methods to gain awareness of what's working and what isn't in our lives and how we may be sabotaging our own deep desires, as well as how to shift our focus to develop new mindsets that encourage engagement, resilience, and flexibility."
