The Republic of Cyprus was recently informed by the European Civil Protection Mechanism that the offer of Cyprus to send a rescue team was accepted by Turkey.

An event for the signing of the new Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) in which Greek municipalities participate was held in the presence of the political leadership of the Ministry of Environment and Energy on Friday, February 3. The municipalities that participate in the memorandum create a "network" of 85 Greek cities, which are committed to work on climate neutrality.

Close defence cooperation with the United States and NATO is a shield that offers deterrent power to Greece, Senator Robert Menendez said during the "Delphi Economic Forum" in Washington. The senator referred in detail to all the recent steps that have substantially upgraded defence cooperation between the two sides and work to the benefit of both Greece and the USA.

The rescue crews in Turkey are fighting against time, weather conditions and aftershocks, in order to get as many people alive from the ruins, left behind by the 7.8 Richter earthquake.
