The Minister of National Economy and Finance, Kostis Hatzidakis, is in Washington, in order to participate in the Spring Session of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) forecasts for Greece a primary surplus of 2.1 per cent of GDP this year and a decrease in public debt by 10 percentage points to 158.8% of the GDP in its report on fiscal developments (Fiscal Monitor).

The Greek real estate market appears to have entered “bubble” territory, following its rally of six years that started in 2017, as the International Monetary Fund (IMF) observed in its Article IV Consultation report on Greece.
