The Athens Medical Association (ISA) and the Hellenic Medical Society of Melbourne have renewed their partnership to boost medical tourism in Greece. In a meeting held at ISA’s headquarters, the presidents of both organisations discussed expanding scientific collaboration and launching joint initiatives to attract international patients.

A Greek truck driver has been shot and arrested by Turkish police at the Ipsala border station, authorities have said.

"I wouldn't be exaggerating when I say that the Thessaloniki metro will be a point of attraction for tourists in the city." stated the head of the Greece-Cyprus department of the Directorate-General for Regional Policy and Urban Policy (DG REGIO) of the European Commission, Carsten Rasmussen, in statements after his tour to the depot and the metro stations, an Elliniko Metro announcement said on Wednedsday. Rasmussen was toured by the general director of Elliniko Metro SA Nikos Kouretas.
