Olympic champion Miltiadis (Miltos) Tentoglou on Sunday became the first man to win a third consecutive long jump title at a European Athletics Indoor Championships tournament, thanks to a first-round best attempt of 8.30 meters in Istanbul.

Olympic long jump gold medallist Miltos Tentoglou set a new European athletics championship record on Tuesday by jumping 8.52m in Munich.

Miltos Tentoglou is off to an impressive start to the season, who finished his performance on the Silver Indoor Tour of the World Federation, taking second place in Ostrava.
