George Prokopiou: His largest tanker, "Atokos", crossed the Strait of Hormuz

Greek shipowner George Prokopiou, whose ships have repeatedly transited the Strait of Hormuz during the Iran-Iraq war, has sent its largest oil supertanker since the conflict began. The Atokos, a VLCC (Very Large Crude Carrier) with a capacity of about 2 million barrels, recorded a position signal in the Indian Ocean on Friday, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
