The Minister of Tourism Haris Theocharis met with senior executives of "American Airlines" and "United Airlines" and discussed the opening of Greek tourism for the 2021 season, in the context of his contacts during his trip to the USA.

The World Travel and Tourism Council (WTCC) awarded Greece a top international distinction, with special importance for the promotion of Greece as a global example of safe opening of tourism.

The Minister of Tourism, Mr. Theocharis, is paying a special visit to the USA and Mexico to resume tourist travel to Greece. Continuing his tour of countries of high interest for Greek Tourism, by visiting the US and Mexico, Mr. Theocharis will have a series of contacts with government officials, representatives of airlines, as well as with prominent players in the international tourism market.
