The Greek-Cypriot motorcyclists of the “Isaak–Solomou Memorial Initiative” visited the Acropolis as part of the major tour they are carrying out to commemorate 30 years since the deaths of the two heroes, Tasos Isaak and Solomos Solomou.
The dozens of motorcyclists departed from the port of Limassol in Cyprus on 8 July, bound for Piraeus, in order to undertake a ten-day journey through Greece dedicated to the two Greek Cypriots who were murdered in August 1996, in the buffer zone, during anti-occupation demonstrations.
Rhodes, Leonidio, Salamina, Kastellorizo, Ro, Kythira, Elos in Laconia, and Kyrenia in Achaea were among the places they visited.
After their visit to the Acropolis, a delegation of the Cypriot motorcyclists met with the Speaker of the Hellenic Parliament, Konstantinos Tasoulas.
