The signing of the agreement between Greece and Israel on the “Achilles Shield” was commented on by Benjamin Netanyahu, through a statement he posted on social media.

According to the Israeli Prime Minister, “the security agreement signed today with Greece, one of the largest in the country’s history, is a direct continuation of the alliance in the Eastern Mediterranean that we created a decade ago with Greece and Cyprus.”

Benjamin Netanyahu added that this agreement is “further proof of the enormous potential of Israel’s defense and technology industries. This move expresses Israel’s strength, confidence in our defense exports, and the strengthening of regional alliances.”
