Turkish professor issues emergency warning for strong earthquake between Turkey and Rhodes: "We may even reach 9 on the Richter scale"
The recent 5.8 magnitude earthquake that struck the sea off Marmaris, southwest Turkey, in the early hours of Tuesday (June 3) has caused great concern in both Greece and Turkey.
The tremor had serious consequences, as a 14-year-old girl lost her life in Turkey, while there was material damage to buildings and infrastructure.
