More than 540,000 war refugees and irregular migrants landed on various Greek islands during the first 10 months of 2015, the European border agency Frontex reported on Tuesday.

Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras on Tuesday referred to the issues that need to be resolved ahead of the completion of the first round of the prior actions, which are expected to be voted on this current week. 

The official finance ministry figures confirm information of a significant increase in government revenue in October.

Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras will reiterate his position that the refugee crisis must be seen as a joint European problem and not as one that concerns only the country of entry when he attends the Valletta Summit on Wednesday and Thursday which will focus on action for migration
