The official finance ministry figures confirm information of a significant increase in government revenue in October.
According to data of the ministry, tax and customs revenues in October 2015, stood at 714 million euros more than those of October 2014. In particular proceeds rose by 19.47% to 4.385 bn. euros against 3.670 bn. euros in the same month last year. Compared to the budgeted net income in October revenue increased by 4.53% which proves the significant recovery during the month in question.
At the same time as shown by the data the sum of 10 months of revenues shows a slight deviation from the level at which they moved in 2013 and 2014 despite the existence of capital controls and other problems that were not present in previous years, indicate sources of the Ministry of Finance. It is significant that the ten months from January to October 2015 total net budget revenues amounted to 36.514 billion euros, as against 37.642 billion euros during the same period last year.
