Delta Airlines is the latest international carrier to announce a resumption of transatlantic flights to and from Greece, with the US airliner on Monday unveiling a new route connecting Atlanta to Athens for the coming summer.

The Minister of Tourism, Mr. Theocharis, is paying a special visit to the USA and Mexico to resume tourist travel to Greece. Continuing his tour of countries of high interest for Greek Tourism, by visiting the US and Mexico, Mr. Theocharis will have a series of contacts with government officials, representatives of airlines, as well as with prominent players in the international tourism market.
