A new framework of stricter rules for short-term rentals, including the possibility of even banning the activity in tourism-saturated areas, is introduced by the draft Special Spatial Planning Framework for Tourism, presented yesterday by the Ministries of Environment and Tourism.

Bookings for the summer months (June, July and August) show that the tourist season will be favorable across much of Europe, including in Greece.

Tourist accommodations will continue to record high occupancies until the end of October, in Greece's top resorts, multiplying the smiles of tourism agents who see the big bet of extending the season coming closer and closer.
