Energy developments in the Eastern Mediterranean will dominate the meetings of Environment and Energy Minister, Stavros Papastavrou, in Washington starting on Monday.
Minister of Environment and Energy, Costas Skrekas pegged the amount in subsidies for energy that will have been spent until the end of July at 4.3 billion euros, speaking on MEGA channel.
EastMed natural gas pipeline "promotes the cooperation among many countries of the wider region at energy level" and with the signing of the agreement on the pipeline the involved countries are building "a coalition of legality and defence of the international law" stated Energy Minister Kostis Hatzidakis speaking to Thema radio on Thursday.
