Children reportedly discovered an oxidized Italian World War II shell that was found on the afternoon of March 25th in a building under construction in Pefki.

The suicide of a 32-year-old mother who ended her life jumping from the roof of her flat, in Pefki suburtb, after first throwing her 5-year-old child has shocked the nation, with Greek police (ELAS) looking for evidence that may indicate why she made this tragic decision.

Petrol bombs, a.k.a. Molotov cocktails, rained down on the police station inthe Athens suburb of Pefki, at dawn on Thursday.
