Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met with the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on Tuesday in Abu Dhabi. During the meeting, the two leaders discussed regional developments and review their strong bilateral relations.
Another piece to the Eastern Mediterranean energy puzzle that is gradually taking shape and places Greece at the center of developments was added yesterday, following the announcement by the Prime Minister about the interest of powerful investors to participate in the Greece-Cyprus electricity interconnection project.
The general director of international economic relations and openess and president of Enterprise Greece, Ioannis Smyrlis, on Tuesday referred to the common will of all the parties involved to cooperate and make use of the positive climate that has been generated as regards deepening economic relations with Greece, in his address to the 11th Arab-Hellenic Economic Forum "Greece and Arab World: Growing Ties" organised by the Arab-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Development on Tuesday and Wednesday.
