The ministry of public works and the environment has approved two significant tourism complex units on the islands of Kea and Milos respectively.

Cretan farmers and agricultural producers distributed vegetables and fruit for free to motorists at the Afidnes toll booth on the Athens – Thessaloniki national highway. The farmers were reacting to the new bill on Open Air markets and selling from stalls.

Confidence in Greece's prospects is returning, Bank of Greece Governor George Provopoulos told institutional investors at a London banking forum.
