Trial begins for the murder of Philip Tsanis, who was beaten to death in Germany
A court in Bielefeld, North Rhine-Westphalia, in Germany, began Tuesday the trial of death of Greek-born 20-year-old Philippos Tsanis, who last June was fatally wounded after a violent beating while returning from his sister’s graduation party in Bad Oienhausen.

20-year-old Philippos Tsanis wanted to celebrate with his little sister who was getting her high school diploma at the graduation ceremony on Saturday night. Unfortunately, the party ended in tragedy. A group of men beat the young man from Minden to death in a local park.
