More than 300 million euro funds will be allocated to tourist investments in the next two years, George Tziallas, secretary general of Tourism Policy and Development, said.
"Sustainable development must be the basic pillar of the development strategy of the Greek tourism," the president of the Greek Tourism Confederation (SETE), Andreas Andreadis, said at the Economist's Congress Sustainability Summit for Southeast Europe and the Mediterranean.
Tourism and infrastructure will be at the top of the Greece-China agenda of collaborative efforts, Economy, Infrastructure, Shipping and Tourism Minister Giorgos Stathakis said during a business forum on shipping held in Beijing this week on the sidelines of Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras’ official visit to China.
