More than 30 million tourists are expected to come to Greece in 2017, secretary general of the Greek National Tourism Organisation (GNTO) Dimitris Tryfonopoulos on Sunday said in the 2nd Delphi Economic Forum.
Tourism has contributed significantly to the Greek economy, according to INSETE report. It has become a true national champion in the race for a more extroverted Greek economy, given that more than 90% of its revenues come from abroad, within an extremely competitive global environment.
2016 ends on a positive note and 2017 sets off in a spectacular way, Tourism Minister Elena Kountoura on Monday said in statements to the Athens-Macedonian News Agency's radio station Praktoreio 104.9 FM.
