The President of the European Central Bank, Mario Draghi and the Governor of the Bank of Greece, Yiannis Stournaras are expected to discuss the possibility that Greek banks will need additional liquidity to cover their needs immediately before and after the snap election on the 25th of January, according to Kathimerini newspaper.

One 29 year old Greek and one foreign national reportedly lost their lives when a Greek controlled oil tanker was hit with an airstrike by an unknown party. Another two crew members of the ship were injured.

Particularly heavy snowfalls will be seen from this evening in eastern mainland Greece (mainly in the regions of Attica and Voiotia), in the Sporades, Evoia, the Cyclades and Crete and will continue periodically through tomorrow. The phenomena are predicted to ease on Wednesday.
