Ekrem Imamoglu, the candidate of the Kemalist opposition and winner of the first poll in the municipal elections in Constantinople, won again today’s the re-election vote and he is the new mayor of the city.

Movement for Change (Kinima Allagis, KINAL) leader Fofi Gennimata said on Sunday that "Erdogan (Turkish President) violates the international law and escalates the provocations against Greece, Cyprus and Europe even with personal verbal attacks against countries and EU leaders". 

The well-known writer Apostolos Doxiades published on Facebook an accusation that Greek soldiers "abducted" Turkish fugitives who were requesting political asylum in Greece and handed them over to Erdogan.
