Greece is set for a limited government reshuffle on Thursday, June 11. Government spokesperson Pavlos Marinakis confirmed the timeline on Saturday, signaling that Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will announce the changes following the election of a new secretary general for the governing party.

Former Greek prime minister Antonis Samaras has been expelled from the parliamentary group of the ruling New Democracy party, which he once led, according to an announcement issued by government spokesperson Pavlos Marinakis on Saturday.

Antonis Samaras, from the step of the ND Congress, once again accused SYRIZA and the "landmines" it left for the current government, while speaking openly about "illegal immigration".
