The right to knowledge is sacred and the government has an obligation to ensure that is offered to all Greeks, to all children, regardless to what God they believe in, Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras said in his speech to 635 pupils of the minority high school in Xanthi.

Opposition parties criticized Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras after his speech at SYRIZA’s central committee on Sunday morning, saying he has no plan to help Greece exit the crisis and is trying to muzzle the media. 

"The renewal of confidence in me is a renewal of the responsibility for a more massive, a more collective, a more efficient party in the difficult battles ahead of us, for a Greece of justice and prosperity," Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras posted on Twitter after the results of the elections for the leader of the party.
Tsipras was re-elected with 93.54 percent of votes.
