The girl's funeral will be held in Kefalonia, with the island's residents still shocked by her tragic loss.
Myrto's last communication with a 66-year-old - They were looking for what to do with her cell phone
At the same time, new data is gradually being added to the puzzle of the 19-year-old's death case in Kefalonia, with the competent authorities investigating any information that may contribute to clarifying the circumstances.
As it appears from the information so far, a 66-year-old man from Preveza allegedly contacted the 19-year-old via video call at approximately 04:00 in the early morning of the day she died, according to what he testified.
During his testimony, he stated that he met Myrto through her 23-year-old friend (who is among the three arrested in the case) as he added him to a group conversation, in which the 19-year-old also participated, nine days before the fatal incident.
According to the information, he allegedly testified: “On 13/04 and at approximately 23:38 I received a video call lasting approximately three minutes. During the call, she told me that she was in a bad psychological state, had left her home and intended to spend the night on a bench, as she had no money with her. I suggested that she return to her home or go to a friend, but she replied that she had no one.
I suggested that I send her money so that she could spend the night in a shelter and be safe. She suggested that I send her the amount via electronic transfer, which I did immediately, sending 220 euros.
The last communication I had with her took place at 04:02 in the morning via a video call lasting about two minutes. During the call, I noticed that she was lying in a room and seemed to be in a better condition compared to the previous communication. The call was abruptly interrupted, as it seemed that someone was entering the room.
At another point in his testimony, he stated that shortly after 05:00 in the morning he received a call from the 23-year-old who was with the 19-year-old and told him that Myrto was in the hospital. In fact, as he said, he asked him what to do with her cell phone that was in his possession.
As he allegedly testified, he suggested that he hand it over to her, however, when he informed him that he was worried since she was outside the hospital and the Police told him to keep the phone and hand it over the next day.
“In the next communication, he informed me that he left the cell phone in a cafe and notified a friend of the woman to pick it up. On the same day, at noon, I contacted him again to find out if there was any news and I was informed that the woman had died,” he allegedly claimed.
The arrested are being questioned
It is noted that today the three men (22, 23 and 26 years old, the 23year old is a transgendered peson) who were arrested after the tragic incident are expected to appear before the investigating judge to give their statements. Information indicates that the accused will deny the charges and claim that the 19-year-old asked for cocaine and, therefore, they are not responsible for her death.
Moreover, the girl's 23-year-old friend also showed relevant "writing samples" who, in his testimony, essentially put all blame on her, claiming that Myrto persistently asked for cocaine and that he himself told her to stop using it.
However, as the lawyer of the 19-year-old's family, Mr. Panagis Drakoulogonas, clarified to ERT, Myrto has never been a drug user.
"We seek to fully reveal the truth," he said. "And we estimate that this will happen in the coming days. In the context of the investigation, the truth will be fully revealed and after the truth is fully revealed, justice will be served and everyone will be held accountable for exactly what they did, for what they should have done and did not do," he noted characteristically.
The Chronicle

About an hour later, he left, but returned again with an additional amount of cocaine. The second time, he was accompanied by a 22-year-old of Albanian origin, who, according to police sources, did not participate in the use.
