The U.S Embassy in Athens issued a press release condemning the granting of a 48-hour furlough to November 17th convicted terrorist Dimitris Koufontinas. The statement was posted on the official Twitter account of the US Embassy and read:

The main hitman of the extreme-left terrorist organization “17 November”, Dimitris Koufontinas, will get a second 48-hour leave from prison starting tomorrow.

A letter sent by jailed “17 November” terrorist Vasilis Tzortzatos and published by Eleftherotypia newspaper, provides an answer to his “comrades” that call the death in a rocket attack of bystander Thanos Axarlian “collateral damage.”
