SYRIZA is in a difficult position again, this time over the issue of convicted terrorist hitman Dimitris Koufontina.

The Council of State (CoS) has accepted the appeal by Prosecutor Xenia Dimitriou to scrap an initial decision by the Volos Judicial Council which had turned terrorist Dimitris Koufontinas’s request for a furlough.

The U.S Embassy in Athens issued a press release condemning the granting of a 48-hour furlough to November 17th convicted terrorist Dimitris Koufontinas. The statement was posted on the official Twitter account of the US Embassy and read:
