The effects of the international energy crisis, which has escalated since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, were discussed by the Minister of Environment and Energy, Costas Skrekas, during the tripartite meeting between Greece, Cyprus and Israel with his counterparts Natasha Peleidou and Karine Elharrar.

The way for the tripartite meeting of the Ministers of Energy of Greece Costas Skrekas, of Cyprus Natasa Peleidou and of Israel Karin Elharar is likely to open today the corresponding meeting in Athens of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the three countries.

Israel is looking for ways to increase the penetration of Renewable Energy Sources into domestic energy consumption, seeking to accelerate its plans to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
