Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama expressed on Saturday his endless gratitude to the Greek people and his friends, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and his predecessor, Alexis Tsipras, for the support they are offering to the Albanian people. "I admired the Greek rescuers," he said, adding "I hope one day we will look like you."

Greek PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis met with Albanian counterpart Edi Ram in New York and discussed matters of bilateral relations between the two nations as well as the prospect of Albania’s accession to the European Union ahead of the October European Council.

In a statement that raises many questions, Albania's prime minister, speaking in a TV show on Vision Plus TV, among others, said his country is talking with Greece on border changes.
