Alpha Bank, Greece's fourth-biggest lender by assets, has agreed to acquire Citibank's retail banking operations in Greece at a price of 2 million euros.

Today, Alpha Bank's workers' union confirmed the authorization of a new two-year agreement, and a ratification of a new single organization for all bank employees.

Greece's fourth-largest lender Alpha Bank posted a loss for the first quarter, broadly in line with analysts' estimates, as provisions for bad loans offset a rise in net interest income.
