Haaretz proposes Andros as the ideal destination that families can visit as early as Spring, to participate in activities, taste local dishes, admire beautiful landscapes and experience the aura of the Cyclades, on an island just two hours from Rafina.

The promotion in Haaretz, in the context of the targeted informative efforts of the Office of EOT Israel, is part of the effort of the municipality of Andros to extend the tourist season.

"The extension of the tourist season is not an easy task but it requires time and a methodical approach", said regarding the Haaretz article the deputy mayor of tourism of the Municipality of Andros, Nikos Moustakas.

The good prices, the uniqueness of Andros, the hospitality of the locals, the favorable distance from Athens but also that in recent years we start the promotion much earlier, have contributed to this result ", he added.

A tribute to Andros was published by the popular German magazine for hiking tourism, Wandern & Reisen.

According to international media, Andros is emerging as one of the most suitable summer destinations under the new conditions.
