"Al Fursan", the United Arab Emirates Air Force aerobatic display team, and two Typhoons arrived on Monday in Athens ahead of the 11th Athens Flying Week 2023 to take place on September 2-3.

This year's Athens Flying Week air show, scheduled for September 19 and 20, is being canceled "due to insurmountable obstacles caused by the COVID-19 pandemic," the organizing committee said in a statement.

Athens Flying Week takes place today for the second day and early in the morning people of all ages hurried to Tanagra Airport to see unique Greek and foreign fighter airplanes, parachute jumps and the spectacular acrobatics and formations in the sky.
