Hard Rock International and top Greek construction contractor GEK Terna on Tuesday evening unveiled their ambitious plan for the creation and management of an integrated resort casino (IRC) at the landmark Helleniko land development project in coastal southeast Athens.

In 2025, the construction works of the Ellinikon Commercial Hub, the new commercial, entertainment and business destination, on Vouliagmenis Avenue, that will extend to more than 185,000 sq.m., will be completed, as presented by Lamda Development.

Mario Kontomerkos, CEO of Mohegan Entertainment, addressed the current issue of the casino investment in Elliniko, speaking at the Prodexpo conference, emphasizing that the "Inspire Athens" plan has been created to bring profits not only to Mohegan Entertainment, which will manage it, but also in Greece, both short-term and long-term.
