President of Republic Prokopios Pavlopoulos is to pay an official visit to China from May 13 to 15, at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping.

The first consignment of Greek saffron will be exported to China by the end of May, said the President of the Kozani Saffron Producers Cooperative, Nikos Patsiouras, speaking to Athens-Macedonian News Agency (ANA) on Tuesday. 
Patsiouras expressed his satisfaction on behalf of the Kozani saffron producers, and said this commercial development means entering a market of tremendous dynamic potential. 

The Greek and Chinese Foreign Ministers signed a memorandum of collaboration in the framework of China's "One Belt, One Road" initiative in Beijing on Monday.
