The expertise, which the IRS has already developed for the control of transactions in cryptocurrencies and digital assets, is sought to be utilized by Greece's Independent Public Revenue Authority-AADE. During a meeting, at the IRS offices, in Washington, the Director of the AADE, Giorgos Pitsilis, and the Acting Commissioner of the IRS, Douglas O'Donnell, discussed the prospect of cooperation between the two services in this field.
