The Eurozone must understand that its real "enemy" today is not the deficit but the debt, President Prokopios Pavlopoulos said on Thursday, in a speech opening the Delphi Economic Forum 2018, held March 1-4 in Delphi. 

Greek general government revenues from income and property taxes amounted to 5.244 billion euros (or 25.4 pct of total revenues) in the second quarter of 2016, down from 5.301 billion (26.9 pct of total) in the corresponding period last year, Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) reported on Monday.

EU Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos, Economy Minister George Stathakis and Alternate Finance Minister George Chouliarakis are expected to meet on Monday with EU Commissioner Pierre Moscovici to discuss the agenda of the negotiation and Greek economic programme.
