Environment and Energy Minister Kostis Hatzidakis will present on Thursday the measures for the modernization of the Public Power Corporation (PPC), the privatisation of the Gas Corporation (DEPA) and the support of the Renewable Energy Sources following a discussion in the cabinet meeting.

The Installation License for the Greek section of the Greek-Bulgarian Gas Interconnector (IGB) was issued by decision of the Minister of Environment and Energy George Stathakis, DEPA announced today.

The natural gas supplier DEPA is going to build a ship that will supply other vessels in Piraeus and other Greek ports with liquified natural gas (LNG). The project will be co-funded by the EU.
