Deputy Foreign Minister Alexandra Papadopoulou had a telephone conversation with US Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau.

“I am pleased to nominate Michael J. Rigas for the position of Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources. Michael will serve with responsibility at the State Department, as he did previously when he served in my first term as Deputy and Acting Director of the Office of Personnel Management and as Acting Deputy Director for Management in the Office of Management and Budget.

Sullivan spoke on Tuesday with Greek Foreign Minister George Katrougalos to congratulate him on his appointment as Foreign Minister and to commend the Greek Parliament’s ratification of the Prespa Agreement and the NATO Accession Protocol for the Republic of North Macedonia.
