According to the US media, the US is preparing alternative scenarios in case something happens to Turkey and the US presence there is threatened.

A new rabid attack against Greece was launched by one of Recep Tayyip Erdogan's advisers, stating, among other things, that Turkey is ready to start a war, to shoot down 5-6 Greek fighters and that he would personally execute a Greek pilot.

Erdogan continues to provoke, despite the dilemma of "de-escalation or sanctions" posed by the EU, in view of the extraordinary summit on September 24th and 25th. The war atmosphere was also triggered by the information about the gathering of Turkish armor, however, as it became known later, these are returns from Syria.
