IMF Managing Director Christine Lagarde said the Fund will remain engaged in Greece in "some form", with the framework to be decided after a closely watched June 21 Eurogroup meeting, she told a press conference in Berlin.

The Greek government aims to complete discussions and reach a staff level agreement (SLA) in time for the Eurogroup meeting on March 20, bridging any remaining differences regarding a change in the fiscal policy mix after 2019, government spokesman Dimitris Tzanakopoulos said during a press briefing on Thursday.

The Greek issue will dominate the afternoon meeting of the Eurogroup that will start at 16.00. According to an announcement of the EU Council, the EU Finance Ministers will be briefed by the institutions of the second programme review after their visit to Athens in mid-November.
