The triumph of Marine Lepen in France, the clear victory of Giorgia Meloni in Italy and the rise of the far-right AfD in Germany confirm a shift to the right in Europe, but there is no single united far-right in Europe.

Official European election results, with 97.16% of all votes counted
New Democracy led European elections, followed by SYRIZA, PASOK, Elliniki Lysi and KKE, with 97.16% of votes counted on Sunday.
Niki and Plefsi Eleftherias and possibly Voice of Logic are also making the 3% threshold to enter the European Parliament.

Kosmos leader slams government inaction against climate change
Petros Kokkalis, leader of the newly-formed Kosmos party, has lashed out at Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis for what he called “a disparity” between his policy statements and actions on climate change.
