Movement for Change (KINAL) MEP Eva Kaili was on Tuesday elected Vice-President of the European Parliament as a candidate of the Socialists & Democrats (S&D) party.

Reactions have been cause by the sexist comment of Avgi editor, Dimitris Christou, that Eva Kaili was elected to Europarliament "because she is a very beautiful woman."
